

Krista Costin holds a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. She received her
Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2008 where she performed with the Minnesota
Opera Chorus during their 2007-2008 season in Romeo and Juliet and the North American premiere of The Fortunes of King Croesus. In
Bloomington, Ms. Costin has participated in the IU Summer Opera Workshop performing scenes from Dido and Aeneas (Sorceress) and Giulio
Cesare (Cornelia). She performed in Suor Angelica (La Zia Principessa) and Gianni Schicchi (Zita) as part of Opera Workshop directed by
Carol Vaness and also was seen in the IU Opera Theatre's new production of Cendrillon (L'esprit six). To conclude the IU Opera Theatre's
2010-2011 season, she premiered the role of Agostina Segatori in Bernard Rand's new opera, Vincent conducted by Maestro Arthur Fagen.
Costin will make her professional opera solo debut with Atlanta Opera in their March 2012 production of Peter Ash's new opera, The Golden Ticket.
