Vox Reflexa

The vocal ensemble Vox Reflexa meaning "Echoed Voices", strives to present

at the highest level, contemporary polyphony rooted in western medieval tradition.

The ensemble has been heralded as "[a] balanced group of beautiful voices that brought

the audience to its feet several times (Journal and Courier, 2010)."  Vox Reflexa has performed

throughout the Mid-West and recently completed a  tour in Quito, Ecuador for the X Festival

Internacional: Música Sacra.  Vox Reflexa is quickly gaining a reputation for "enthralling audiences"

with their ability to "caress with words and music (Herald Times, 2012)."  Also dedicated to the

performance of early music, The ensemble is able to present historically informed performances

from a variety of repertories and utilize the vast network of musicologists, theorists, performers,

and bibliographic resources at Indiana University. The members of Vox Reflexa are young professionals

and alumni of the Jacobs School of Music and the Early Music Institute at Indiana University who hold

advanced degrees from the finest institutions from the USA, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. The
